This beautiful ‘dragon egg’ is cast with epoxy resin and solid wood and then hand turned on a lathe.

Each keepsake urn has a small cavity drilled in the wood bottom that can be filled with about a tablespoon of ashes.

Crafted in the Comox Valley using local Vancouver Island yellow cedar, red cedar or maple burl. The wood will be chosen by the artist based on availability.

Sanded to 3000 grit and hand polished with a home made bees wax compound.

Flat felted bottom for easy display.
